OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of Everything Green Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") specifically regarding our GreenWeb Analytics ("Tracking Tool"). This tool enables website owners and digital property managers to track website performance metrics and user data on their digital platforms. This document outlines what information the GreenWeb Analytics collects, how it is used, and our commitment to protecting visitor privacy.
At Everything Green, we recognize the trust placed in us by both our customers who implement our GreenWeb Analytics and the visitors to their websites. This policy demonstrates our commitment to maintaining that trust through responsible data practices and transparent privacy protections.
DATA COLLECTED BY THE TRACKING TOOL
To monitor system performance, provide diagnostics, and ensure optimal functionality of our web tracking services, Everything Green GreenWeb Analytics may collect limited aggregated data about tag firing, tracking events, and user metric calculations. This diagnostic data helps us maintain service quality and improve our keyword and website event measurement accuracy.
Important Privacy Protections:
The data collected for diagnostics purposes does not include measurement identifiers that could be associated with a particular individual. We do not collect, retain, or share any personally identifiable information about visitors to our customers' properties, including specific page URLs visited, user browsing behavior, or individual user profiles.
Other than data contained in standard HTTP request logs and the anonymized diagnostics data noted above, the GreenWeb Analytics operates with minimal data collection focused solely on website performance metrics and system stability.
HOW OUR TRACKING TOOL WORKS
The Everything Green GreenWeb Analytics functions as a tag management system specifically designed for website engagement and environmental performance tracking. When implemented on a website, it:
- Measures carbon emissions associated with digital activities
- Tracks website performance indicators
- Tracks session activity according to keywords and landing pages
- Calculates energy consumption metrics
- Provides aggregated web traffic and user behavior analytics to website owners
The tool processes this environmental data in real-time without storing personally identifiable information about individual website visitors. All metrics are aggregated and anonymized, focusing on overall session behavior rather than individual user behavior.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We maintain minimal data retention policies to protect visitor privacy:
- Standard HTTP request logs
- Diagnostic and performance data: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form only as necessary for system improvement
- No long-term storage of visitor-specific information or browsing patterns
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
As this GreenWeb Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information about website visitors, there is no individual user data to access, modify, or delete. Website owners who implement our GreenWeb Analytics have access to aggregated website performance data through their Everything Green dashboard.
If you have questions about how the GreenWeb Analytics operates on a specific website, we encourage you to contact the website owner directly, as they control the implementation and tracking on their digital properties.
DATA SECURITY
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data processed by our Tracking Tool, including:
- Encrypted data transmission
- Secure server infrastructure
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Access controls and authentication protocols
- Compliance with data protection standards
THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS
The Everything Green GreenWeb Analytics may integrate with other analytics or platforms as configured by website owners. Any such integrations are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party services. We encourage website owners to review and understand the data practices of all tools they implement on their digital properties.
TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
We believe in transparent data practices. Website owners using our GreenWeb Analytics should inform their visitors about the environmental tracking implemented on their sites through their own privacy policies and cookie notices. We provide our customers with clear documentation and guidance on privacy-compliant website performance tracking.
UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this GreenWeb Analytics Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices, legal requirements, or service enhancements. We will notify customers of material changes through our platform notifications and update the effective date of this policy.
If you have questions about this Tracking Tool Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us:
